After installation I got a message saying that there were some drivers missing, one of them being the Network controller drivers.
After finding the correct drivers online using my laptop I tried installing them and got the message 'realtek network controller not found if deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable'
I have tried unplugging the power source from the PC, removing the RAM cards and motherboard battery to reset the motherboard and left them removed for around an hour.
Once I put the PC back together again and after reverting the motherboard to 'optimised default settings' via the Bios I am still getting the same problem.
My current setup is as follows.
Asus P8H77-M motherboard (with an integrated Realtek network adapter)
8Gb DDR3 RAM (2 x 4Gb)
Intel i5 Quad core processor
NVidia Geforce GTX650 Graphics card
Windows 7 Professional 64bit
If anyone could help me with this problem that would be great.
